Cricket has always been a popular sport in the oldest sports in India. But everybody is not lucky to bring their talents in front of country. There is no dearth of talented cricketor's in India, but there are very few cricket tournaments held at basic and small levels in India.

ICA mission is to promote the game of cricket and its traditions at the grass roots level in the India by educating and providing quality cricketing and coaching facilities to impact and improve the lives of sports minded people. Our vision is to attract young people and active young cricketers, provide affordable and accessible cricketing facilities, quality coaching and opportunities to compete. ICA would like to create a passion for the game and instill the great virtues of sportsmanship and gentlemanly behavior which are a tradition of this game to improve the quality of life in the community.
Some cricketers are facing a lot of problems due to Corona Virus. So, The ICA has so far collected Rs 57 lakh for cricketers stranded in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) has decided to provide financial assistance to 35 to 40 players in place of 25-30 cricketers already decided.
The players body will prepare the final list on 22 May and they will select the cricketers from five regions - North, East, West, South and Central. Cricketers who do not have jobs, who do not get pension from BCCI or their respective state associations, will be offered help.
Great players like Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev are among those who have contributed financially.
The 1,750 former cricketers registered with the ICA are the first players association of India which came into existence last year.
